Your mission, roles and responsibilitiesThe EDI Integration Analyst will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring efficient data exchange with our trading partners within the Integration & Platforms team in North America Operations (NAO). He/she has a deep functional understanding of EDI technologies and tools, as well as SAP integration needs. Additionally, a detailed knowledge of the organization and processes in the sites he/she supports is required.
The main missions of the role are:
To implement projects related to Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes using SAP-ERP and Seeburger-BIS.
To participate in continuous improvement internal projects.
To provide Level 3 (L3) support to ensure optimal system performance and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders and SAP L2 to gather and document EDI requirements, ensuring alignment with operational goals and compliance with industry standards.Design, implement, and maintain EDI solutions within SAP ERP and Seeburger BIS, facilitating seamless data exchange with trading partners.Develop and maintain data mapping specifications for various EDI transactions (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT).Conduct comprehensive testing of EDI transactions with business stakeholders and SAP L2 to ensure accuracy and compliance with business requirements.Provide Level 3 support for EDI-related issues, troubleshooting complex problems and coordinating with IT teams to resolve incidents efficiently.Create and maintain detailed documentation for EDI processes, mappings, and configurations, ensuring knowledge transfer and compliance with ITIL best practices.Your profile and competencies to succeed
Education:
College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, computer science, accounting, or management information systems or equivalent experience.
Languages:
English and Spanish Fluent.
Experience:
+ 5 Years in EDI and Integration in a Manufacturing environmentExperience in Automotive business processes is a plus.Technical skills required:
Experience working within at least one EDI integration platform (e.g. Seeburger BIS, IBM Sterling, Gentran).Experience interacting with at least one VAN Supplier (e.g. Covisint, GXS).Deep knowledge of EDI processes, standards, protocols, and implementation strategies.Strong understanding of the integration for the flows between EDI and the various business systems, such as ERP.Proficient in an SAP module (e.g., SD, MM) and its integration with EDI processes.Basic understanding of JIT and JIS processes.Basic understanding of Trade Sales (multi-level tier suppliers with OEM) process flows.Knowledge of ITIL framework and experience in providing L3 support.Experience with programming languages (e.g., ABAP, Java) is a plus.Experience migrating EDI processes between different platforms is a plus.Basic understanding of SAP Transport Management Module is a plus.Leadership and behavioral competencies required:
