From long-range covert surveillance missions to search and rescue operations, our MX-series systems, and the mission systems solutions they are a part of, produce stabilized high-magnification electro1-optical and infrared images from airborne, marine and ground based platforms, enabling our customers to see first and act first. Primary Responsibilities + Assemble, test, adjust and troubleshoot Optical, Electronic and Electrical/Mechanical assemblies + Repair or rework existing assemblies + Work with Engineering on development of new products/procedures + Maintain test data, complete NCRs (Non-Conformance reports), analyze and advise on corrective actions + Assist in investigating, developing and implementing new test instructions Required Capabilities + Experience with assembly and troubleshooting Optical, Electronic and/or Mechanical devices + Understanding of techniques in the use of hand tools and optical bench practices + Ability to use a variety of electronics and optical measuring devices + Positive attitude and able to perform in a high-paced/technical environment Desired Education and Experiences + 2 - 5 years previous related work experience in the Electro-Optical field/ Electronics field + Electronics, Robotics or Optronics/Photonics College Diploma + Experience with Lean Manufacturing an asset + Experience with FOD and ESD principles an asset + Understanding of video and light transmission an asset + Soldering and Crimping skills an asset At L3Harris, we foster an inclusive and equitable workplace.
