Job Responsibilities:
QUALIFICATIONS
Completed second year of Industrial Electrician ApprenticeshipGood English (both written and verbal) communication skillsGood familiarity with electrical componentsGood knowledge of hand and power toolsDESIRABLE ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Automotive manufacturing experienceMAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Works under the direction of the Shift Supervisor and the Electrician Journeyman on shiftInstalls power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, dies, conveyors programmable controllers, relay logic, etc.Diagnoses apparatus such as transformers, motors and light fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wiring and fixtureTest malfunctioning machinery and discusses malfunction with management options available to correct problemReplaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches and motors and positions sensing devicesDiagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boardsPlans layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit and electrical apparatus in buildingsInvolved in the diagnoses and replacement of faulty mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines and equipmentComplete PM’s as required and specified by the shift supervisorMaintain 5s standards in the plant and Maintenance ShopMonitors Plant lighting, replace ballasts and bulbs as required.Performs all job functions abiding by the office/work standards, policies and procedures as outlines in the company handbook.Performs all job functions in alignment with IATF 16949 quality management standards and ISO 14001Actively participates in continuous improvementMaintain 5S standards in working environmentAttend training based on Mytox’s internal training matrixPerforms all job functions in a safe, healthful and environmentally conscious manner, abiding by all health, safety and environment rules and regulations as outlined in the company handbookPerforms other duties as assigned or any reasonable request by management.Awareness, Unity, Empowerment:At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
