Downer has been awarded the Property and Asset Services (PAS) contract to deliver base and estate services across their two largest regions NSW/ACT and Qld.  This is a significant milestone for our business and our enduring 80 + year relationship with the Australian Defence Force.

What You’ll Do 

 This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: 

Responsible for undertaking electrical maintenance, repair and inspection tasks to ensure the safe and compliant operation of electrical systems and equipment across the base.  Deliver high quality trade services, maintain WHS and environmental compliance, and work collaboratively with other trades and service providers to support PAS delivery Provide responsive and professional trade services to internal and external stakeholders Focusing on improving the longevity of fixed plant & equipment Maintain clear, professional communication regarding works and outcomes 

 What You’ll Bring 

Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrical Licence (NSW) NSW  Electrical Testing and Tagging Certificate and White Card (desirable) Current Open Drivers Licence Post-trade experience in facilities or electrical maintenance and experience in electrical systems inspection, repair and preventative maintenance Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship is mandatory).
