Do you want to work alongside one of Australia’s top-performing coal-fired power stations? Millmerran is a leader in the industry, processing 11,000 tonnes of coal daily. Ventia provides operational and preventative maintenance services to the Millmerran Power Station, which generates 870MW of electricity, powering over 1 million homes. 

Ventia’s contract was successfully renewed in September 2024, ensuring stable and ongoing work. We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join the team and ensure the plant runs smoothly through hands-on maintenance, fault finding, and equipment testing. Want to make the most of your work-life balance? This is a full-time opportunity with a flexible 4 days on, 3 days off roster.

What We Offer

About You

Electrical Licence EEHA certification or experience working in hazardous areas Confined Space Certificate Working from Elevated Work Platforms (EWP) Basic control system and PLC knowledge Drivers Licence Instrumentation or Electronics trade certificate (desirable) First Aid Certificate Please note: This role is based on-site at the Millmerran Power Station. For fatigue management reasons, the successful candidate must reside within a 1-hour drive of Millmerran or be willing to relocate (at their own expense).
