**Description**
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES:**
+ Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
+ Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes and other electrical components.
+ Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
+ Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motoes, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
+ Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices.
+ May install, maintain, and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices.
+ Entails working with a safety control systems, robotic cells, start-up, and troubleshooting machines.
+ Conduct service and installs as needed on and off company facility.
+ Strong knowledge troubleshooting and start-up of light curtains and e-stops circuit systems.
+ Will be required to travel up to 50% of the time within North America, valid passport required.
**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:**
+ Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
+ Basic knowledge of PLC programming.
+ Network configuration, set-up, and commissioning.
+ Strong knowledge of safety circuits, control systems and robotic cells.
**EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:**
+ Completion of a four- or five-year industrial electrician apprenticeship program or electrical technician program completion or working towards.
+ A minimum of 3 years' work experience with live electrical components in an automation material handling industry.
