From securing our campuses to making sure our events go off without a hitch, Facilities is the human face of our company’s well-oiled onsite operation. **Job Duties and Responsibilities** **EchoStar** has an exciting opportunity for an **Electrician** in our **Hughes Network Systems** division. This position will be located at our office in **North Las Vegas** . **Key Responsibilities:** + Troubleshoot and test electrical systems including defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical equipment using test instruments such as ammeter, ohmmeter, and voltmeter. + Complete daily maintenance checks and work assignments, general duties include installation of motors, transformer, lighting fixtures, cable tray and complete circuits according to diagram specifications and Blue Prints. + Complete work as required in a craftsmen like manner in conformance with requirements of local building and NEC codes as well as company specifications + Additional duties may include general building maintenance. + Typical Shift work Monday – Friday and may require some nights, weekends, and Holidays. + Required on call rotation support. **Skills, Experience and Requirements** **Education and Experience:** + High school diploma or general education degree (GED). + Current Journeyman electrical license. + 2 years Commercial and/or industrial experience **Skills and Qualifications:** + Excellent conduit bending skills. + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. + Ability to write routine reports and correspondence using computer + Ability work independently and apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. **Essential Job Duties:** + Must be able to lift 50 pounds + Must be able to sit, stand, crawl, and climb ladders for extended periods. + Must be able to work in all-weather environments, extreme heat, extreme cold, snow, rain noise, hazards and atmospheric conditions (fumes, odor, dust, mist or poor ventilations) indoors, and outdoors **Salary Ranges** Compensation: $51,000.00/Year - $73,000.00/Year **Benefits** We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: DISH Benefits.
