To learn more about playing for Team Amcor, visit www.amcor.com | LinkedIn | YouTube **Responsibilities** + Electricians will plan, lay-out, assemble, install, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring,fixtures, control devices and related equipment in buildings and other structures. + Plans of new or modified installations will minimize waste of materials, provide access for futuremaintenance and avoid unsightly, hazardous and unreliable wiring consistent with specificationsand electrical codes. + Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes and specifications. + Plan, lay-out, assemble, install, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices and related equipment in buildings and other structures. + Diagnose, locate the cause of, and repair malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components using test equipment. + Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair to ensure compliance with codes and specifications. + Maintain current electrician's license or identification card to meet governmental regulations. + Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes. + Demonstrates awareness of and follows all Food Safety/ GMP policies and procedures. + Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** + Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills + Accountability and dependability + Ability to enforce and follow laws, rules and regulations + Strong attention to detail + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Creative and innovative thinking + 3-5 years experience required + Completion of grade 12 + Completion of a 4 year apprenticeship program + Government skilled trade certification + Knowledge of PLC, DC/AC drives, installation and trouble shooting. **Additional Info** **Contact** Please apply online.
