MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To provide electrical services and perform maintenance, repairs, and replacements on all relevant systems, infrastructure, and equipment in the locality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS Perform Technical jobs within the Locality  Perform administration duties within the technical function Identify and mitigate technical risks within the Locality Coordinate work performed by on-site contractors within the Locality Maintain client and stakeholder relations within the technical function REQUIRED EDUCATION

 

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION

NQF level 4 Electrical qualification with compulsory subjects:

Mathematics, Science or Industrial Electronics, Electro-technology or equivalent and Trade test certification: Electrical (3-phase), with Wireman's licence (Installation Electrician 3-phase) or equivalent Namibian registration (when applicable)

Multi-skilled in terms of experience with more than 8 years of electrical experience and more than 3 years of Mediclinic experience

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Maintenance and repair of electrical systems Test equipment and devices Heating and air conditioning systems Fault finding and troubleshooting Electrical regulations and guides Alarm Panels, IT Networks & Communication Systems Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment (e.g. OHS and ISO) Computer literate (Microsoft Office) Knowledge of Mediclinic Planned Maintenance System Mentoring of technical team members Specialised skills and knowledge of some hospital systems and equipment
