Summary You will serve as an Electrician in the Voyage Repair Team of FLTREADCEN DET MID ATLANTIC PAX RIVER. Responsibilities You will anticipate problems and make recommendation for a solution. You will utilize a variety of skills and initiative to overcome deficiencies in design, availability of material and the operation of test devices to obtain specified results. You will identify broken, worn, damaged, or poorly operating wiring, fixtures, and equipment through a visual check or through the use of various metered test equipment. You will use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot malfunctioning circuitry and equipment. You will work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and electrical maintenance and repair manuals to plan and lay out repair work and trace hard-to-locate defects.
