Job Description
Join a dynamic team at the forefront of forklift manufacturing. Our Columbus plant is the hub for designing, manufacturing, and testing forklifts. This role will focus on implementing tests for existing and new OEM forklifts, with a keen focus on telematics, autonomous systems, and electrical capabilities.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with test engineers to understand and implement testing procedures.Set up data acquisition systems for various tests.Maintain detailed test logs and document daily activities.Update daily activity details in tracking documents.Perform truck tests by driving duty cycles and patterns.Complete and submit test reports within specified timelines.Catalog lessons learned and report testing status in daily meetings.Maintain test equipment and participate in 5S activities.Perform electrical system and subsystem testing using tools like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and voltmeters.Execute custom-built test plans and perform fuse compatibility testing.Essential SkillsAssociate degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent experience.Experience with testing tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and voltmeters.Proficiency in reading schematics.Mechanical aptitude and experience.Experience with component-level testing on PCBs.Soldering experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsUnderstanding of firmware is a plus.Experience with CAN and wire harnesses.Work Environment
Work within a split floor and office environment. The test team operates at the end of the manufacturing line, performing tests as products roll off. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
