**Description:** The Fleet Ballistic Missile \(FBM\) program is seeking a leader to join the Electrical Ground Support Equipment \(EGSE\) team\.
Location: **This position does not support teleworking** ;the selected candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Cape Canaveral FL and be expected to work in the office full\-time\.

**What does this role look like?**
We are looking for you to build, develop, and manage a team of electrical and software engineers that are responsible for development of Automated Test Equipment \(ATE\) for FBM Modernization programs\.

**Key activities you will accomplish in this role:**
• The scope covers the entire product lifecycle from proposal to sustainment\.
• Near\-term scope focuses on requirements development, architecture, hardware and software design, and process improvement\.
• As the functional leader of the team, you will be responsible for staffing, training, mentoring in technical problem solving, ensuring adherence to processes and procedures, and performance management

**To be effective in this role, you will need:**
• Previous experience executing and leading \(either technically or functionally\) Ground Support Equipment \(EGSE\) teams
• 10\+ years of professional experience
• While no clearance is needed to start in this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a **Top Secret clearance** , thus **US Citizenship** is required\.

**Basic Qualifications:**
• Strong technical background and project leadership experience in developing and sustaining military hardware\.
• Proposal/cost\-estimating experience\.
• Willing and able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance\. Thus US Citizenship is required\.
**Desired Skills:**
• Experience developing and sustaining Automated Test Equipment
• Experience developing and managing a project budget and schedule, managing risks and opportunities, and managing to metrics
• Analog, Digital, and/or RF design experience
• Software development experience
• Experience working Naval contracts
• Knowledge of cyber security concepts
• Active Top Secret clearance
**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 9x80 every other Friday off
