Job Description
We are seeking a Electrical Technologist to join our dynamic team in North Vancouver. The role involves moving into the commissioning phase of new construction, working with racks and cables, and supporting the commissioning, default, and debugging processes.
ResponsibilitiesRead and understand electrical, mechanical drawings and technical documents.Assist in the preparation of drawings, both electrical and mechanical, as required.Read engineering documents, schematics, and technical orders to identify faults and troubleshooting methods.Engage in hands-on testing, integration, configuration, and testing of cabling, network, and electronics systems.Utilize common electrical test equipment, including DMM and Oscilloscope.Essential Skills3 years of experience in a systems engineering environment, preferably in the manufacturing industry.Proficiency in reading and understanding technical drawings and documents.Experience with common electrical test equipment, such as DMM and Oscilloscope.Hands-on experience with testing, integration, and configuration of network and electronics systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of Canadian requirements for shock and vibration.Familiarity with drawing standards and industry design standards.Strong verbal and written communication skills.College diploma in a Technical Program or equivalent with relevant experience.Work Environment
This role is fully on site on a 2 month contract with the possibility to extend.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
