The Opportunity:
CACI's Mastodon Design team in Rochester, NY is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will:
Responsibilities:
Conduct board-level rework and repair of electronic assemblies.Assemble and test cables and wiring harnesses according to specifications.Support design engineers by utilizing test equipment such as meters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.Design and fabricate simple test fixtures to aid in testing and validation.Verify system components, cables, PCBs, and accessories for compliance with design specifications.Collaborate with the team on project assignments and provide technical support as required.Provide support for engineering tasks, including ordering components and maintaining documentation.Qualifications:
Required:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Technician.Proven experience in board-level rework and repair.Experience in cable assembly and testing.Proficiency in using lab test equipment.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and component datasheets.Strong soldering and desoldering skills.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Preferred:
Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field.Experience with digital, RF, and power electrical engineering principles.Familiarity with CAD software for electrical design.Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to electrical engineering.Prior experience in a team-oriented engineering environment.IPC-A-610 Certified Assembler or equivalent experience in adhering to IPC-A-610 standards for PCB assembly.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
