Job Description Work directly with our R&D customers to partner and support R&D development. This person will be responsible for working alongside engineering partners to develop design and implement one off test tooling and test equipment. You'll trouble shoot and diagnose press and test tooling problems providing repairs/solutions as well as installing any required H/W, S/W upgrades as needed by our business partners. As required you'll proactively and effectively escalate issues on your customers' behalf. And you'll proactively work to help the IHPS Operations team understand key opportunities for improving the press quality and customer satisfaction. By taking a proactive approach to customer support you will help maintain a high level of Customer satisfaction with their R&D Programs. Our client is looking for and Electronic Tech to join their team. This person will be responsible for providing repair and maintenance associated with manufacturing and assembly and troubleshoots problems in non-functioning equipment. -Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, and/or rough sketches or drawings. -May perform equipment modification as directed by test/manufacturing engineers. -Uses ability as a skilled specialist to contribute to the development of new concepts/techniques and to complete assignments/tasks in innovative and effective ways - Works on assignments that are highly complex in nature where a strong degree of independent judgment, initiative and technical knowledge are required to resolve problems. . -Frequently determines methods and procedures for new assignments.
