Electrical Technician

Qualifications:

Technical Degree from an Accredited Institution Related Field required. A minimum of 2 years' progressive experience in a related field preferred. OSHA 10 certification preferred. Must posses basic electrical and mechanical knowledge ( required ) Knowledge of electrical controls and electrical A.C. and D.C. systems with training in OSHA general industry electrical safety standards. Training in National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70E electrical safety requirements. Previous training in electrical Arc Flash requirements. Basic troubleshooting experience in A.C. and D.C. electrical systems. Ability to read, analyze and interpret electrical blueprints, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Basic understanding of 48V D.C. applications. Working knowledge of thermal imaging test equipment. Must possess a valid state Driver’s License and provide proof of liability coverage meeting company standards.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $48,800 to $61,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
