Electrical & Piping Drafter

Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical/Piping Drafter II to join our growing team. In this role, you will support engineering and production teams by preparing and modifying technical drawings, including P&IDs, machinery layouts, cable trays, piping, HVAC, and electrical wiring diagrams. You’ll play a key role in translating markups into accurate AutoCAD deliverables for industrial projects.

ResponsibilitiesUse AutoCAD to develop and revise 2D technical drawings.Conduct 2D and 3D modeling of piping systems and electrical systems. Create and update Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), machinery layouts, cable tray routing, and electrical wiring drawings.Experience drafting single line diagrams, schematics, etcGenerate and modify 2D layoutsDevelop as-built documentation.Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams.Essential SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD Technologist diploma or equivalent in drafting, design, or engineering.3+ years of experience in a heavy industrial environment as a drafter or designerPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Vancouver,BC.
