In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing industrial control panels and systems in accordance with schematics, wiring diagrams, and applicable standards. Your work will play a critical role in bringing panel production back in-house while upholding our high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency. **Key Responsibilities** + Assemble and wire control panels, switchgear, and subassemblies based on electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, and point-to-point wiring layouts. + Ensure compliance with NEC, UL, and company standards throughout the assembly process. + Follow standardized work instructions and operating procedures to maintain consistent quality and output. + Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized jigs/fixtures to complete panel builds. + Perform in-process and final functional tests to verify panel performance and adherence to specifications. + Accurately document work hours, production activities, and material usage in ERP systems (e.g., SAP). + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in alignment with 5S and workplace safety protocols. + Collaborate with team members and supervisors during daily stand-ups and continuous improvement initiatives. + Work under direct supervision with a focus on learning and applying best practices. **Required Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED equivalent. + Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in electrical panel assembly or related field. + Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic diagrams, and wiring documentation. + Skilled in the use of hand and power tools relevant to electrical assembly. + Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity. + Basic understanding of electrical safety practices; familiarity with NEC and UL standards is preferred. **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems. + Exposure to lean manufacturing, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies. + Technical or vocational training in electrical assembly, electronics, or a related discipline.
