Position determined by Maintenance Manager. Position requires individual to perform all duties and responsibilities required of Electrical Mechanical Technician I. Following safe and proper procedures and with minimal supervision performs required building and equipment electrical and electronic functions including diagnosing causes of malfunctions, installation, and maintenance of sophisticated systems, and advanced electrical maintenance work.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. May be called upon to perform duties and responsibilities of Electrical Mechanical Technician I.
2. Following safe and proper procedures and with minimal supervision while performing required building and electrical equipment and electronic functions including diagnosing causes of malfunctions, installation, and maintenance of sophisticated systems.
3. Receives and interprets verbal instructions, drawings and blueprints.
4. Designs, builds, programs, diagnoses, and documents electronic control systems.
5. Operates welder, drill press, cutoff saw, band saw, and other maintenance machinery and tools. Also uses ammeter, oscilloscope, volt-ohm meter, printed circuit boards, and computers.
6. Completes paperwork as required, including job cards, inspection reports, logs, etc.
7. May be required to perform other duties within the maintenance department. May be called upon to work late evening, early morning, or other unscheduled hours to perform necessary emergency repairs.
8. Keeps work area neat, clean, organized, and under control.
9. Is responsible for safety and quality of own work and compliance of all company procedures and policies.
10. Perform lead person responsibilities as designated.
11. Performs project work, design, specify and installation.
12. Develops safe work procedures.
13. Develops plant installation standards for production equipment.
14. Develops and improves preventative and predictive maintenance practices.
15. Train other maintenance personnel.
16. Develops, organizes, and implements maintenance projects.
17. Utilizes CMMS to increase department projects.
18. Work with engineering in project development and completion.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
Required: Diploma in Industrial Technology and have completed competence required of Electrical Mechanical Technician I and II.
Any deviations from the above requirements (e.g. substituting more work experience for required education) will be evaluated and approved by the Operations Manager.
Preferred: Associate’s degree in industrial technology with emphasis in industrial maintenance and ten or more years experience.

Competitive Compensation
+ Hourly pay range for this role is $41.97 to $44.56, based on experience
