AECOM is actively seeking an Electrical Department Manager for our London/ Kitchener, Ontario office to work on various designs of high-performance buildings within multiple sectors including Justice, Water, Transportation, Sustainability, Corporate Workplace and Commercial buildings, Federal Civilian and DoD, and Mission Critical.
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field plus 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Professional Engineer (PEng) registrationPreferred Qualifications:
10+ years of electrical engineering experience within a consulting or design-build firm.Experience managing an Electrical Engineering Department is strongly preferred.Presentation experience with clients.Knowledgeable in power systems design including MV and LV systems.Experience with Revit and AutoCAD based design projects.Competent in all conventional aspects of electrical engineering and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection and substantial adaptation and modification of standard electrical engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.Experience in the following markets: DoD, Healthcare and Labs, Corporate Commercial / Mixed Use.Experience with sustainable design.Documented experience with advanced design, and aesthetically challenging design with high profile architecture firms.Analyze equipment energy use for optimizing systems selection.Additional InformationRelocation is not available for this position.Sponsorship is not available for this position.About AECOM
