Education and formal training beyond high school diploma is not required but there is a requirement that the applicant must join our apprenticeship program and go to school. Mechanical technician will be responsible for PMs, maintaining and repairing equipment that range from the latest in technology to legacy equipment with some project and new installation Activities, welding, utilizing measurement tools, perform equipment alignment, disassemble, and rebuild pumps, cylinders and be very familiar with hand tools and safe usage Operate within a team-based work environment that provides ample support for training, skill sharing and acquisition for your development Operates in a multi-craft capacity, performs mechanical and minor electrical work Willingness to learn PLC logic and robotics if skillset has not already been acquired Strong initiative and drive to grow in knowledge and demonstrate mastery of your profession To be successful in this role you will need the following: Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
