Electrical- Low-Power Validation engineer

Job Description:

Capgemini Engineeringis seeking a highly skilledElectrical Low-Power Delivery Network (PDN) Validation Engineerto join our dynamic hardware validation team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in power integrity, low-voltage electrical design, and hands-on bench test validation. This role involves working on cutting-edge technologies across laptops and mobile devices, with responsibilities spanning power design verification, subsystem power analysis, and compliance testing. Key responsibilities:

Apply deep knowledge of low-voltage power electrical design principles and testing methodologies. Conduct Power Integrity validation for laptops and mobile devices (preferred).Participate in design reviews, develop comprehensive quality test plans, and draft detailed test procedures. Execute power design verification for subsystems including SoC, memory, RF, sensors, storage, display, and GPU.Validate power delivery components such as SMPS, LDO, LDSW, and assess parameters like noise, ripple, voltage regulation, dynamic load response, and PFM/PWM modes.Measure deep sleep and shutdown power consumption across subsystems and perform battery leakage power analysis.Conduct AC power measurement and ensure compliance with EU standards. Test and qualify battery chargers using industry-standard methodologies.Collaborate closely with design teams to analyze test failures, perform bug triaging, and support regression testing.


Your Skills

Perform power integrity and bench test validation with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience.Proven experience in power integrity and bench test validation. Strong background in Power Integrity validation techniques.Proficient in using test equipment for power measurements and diagnostics. Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is [$54,300 - $119,490 /yr]. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission.
