Job Title: Electrical Lead
Job Description

Join our team as an Electrical Lead, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation and operation of industrial electrical systems. Your focus will be on maintaining safety, quality, and adherence to project schedules and specifications.

ResponsibilitiesAdhere to and promote safety rules and establish a culture focused on safety.Support the implementation of project objectives and procedures.Inspect construction installations for compliance with drawings and specifications.Assist in planning for the sequence and scheduling of construction activities.Ensure quality requirements of plans, specifications, and standards are met.Monitor measurable quantities to track progress against schedule requirements.Identify installation problems and assist in developing solutions.Ensure corrective actions are taken by the craft, contractor, or vendor.Maintain awareness of equipment and material transportation schedules.Support Site Management in administering construction contracts.Conduct meetings, including pre-bid, pre-mobilization, and contractor orientation.Verify installation, test, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and operate industrial electrical devices and power distribution systems.Check drawings, schematics, and documents to ensure equipment is installed, tested, and operating correctly.Work nights, weekends, and periodic hours outside normal working hours as needed.Collaborate with field engineers, owner's personnel, and team members to complete daily tasks.Perform electrical checks/testing and document per industry standards and project requirements.Coordinate with project supervision or field engineers to complete as-built drawings and documents.Follow or create procedures for assigned work tasks in a safe manner.Essential SkillsConstruction inspection, electrical testing, commissioning, and plant engineering.Experience in operational and maintenance of electrical equipment and controls discipline.4-year degree in Engineering or related field or 10+ years combined experience in Engineering Design, Gas Compression stations, LNG Plant Startup, and/or Plant Engineering, Operations and/or Maintenance.Working knowledge of medium/low voltage installation and checkout.Startup and commissioning experience at a Liquefaction Natural Gas plant.Knowledge of OSHA and applicable environmental regulations.Ability to supervise other technicians, subcontractors, or client personnel.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of electrical testing standards, safety standards, and electrical code standards.Working knowledge of industrial power & process plant electrical distribution and control equipment.Technical skill and knowledge to verify installation, testing, commissioning, and electrical devices.Proactive self-starter with effective communication skills.Adequate knowledge of construction standard practices, techniques, and quality requirements.Ability to interface with contractors, designers, vendors, and other project parties.Familiarity with best practices for installation of conduits, cable tray, supports, and cable-pulling techniques.Work Environment

You will work on-site at the SoCo Gas Riverdale LNG facility, typically Monday through Friday with potential weekend work. The standard schedule is 10 hours a day, five days a week (5x10), with the possibility of six days a week (6x10) during certain project periods.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
