WSP is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Electrical Inspector to join our infrastructure supervision team in Riyadh. This role is open to Saudi nationals with a strong electrical engineering background and prior PMC experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and inspecting electrical works to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards."" - Conduct site inspections of electrical installations including substations, lighting, power distribution, cabling, and grounding systems. - Ensure that all electrical work is carried out as per approved drawings, standards, and project specifications. - Monitor and verify installation methods, workmanship, and safety compliance. - Review and verify method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and material submittals. - Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to resolve technical issues on-site. - Raise non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure timely resolution. - Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections and progress reports. - Assist in testing and commissioning activities and ensure proper documentation. - Participate in site coordination and progress meetings with contractors and stakeholders. - Saudi National (mandatory). - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical inspection, preferably in infrastructure projects. - Prior experience working with a Project Management Consultant (PMC) is highly desirable. - Strong knowledge of Saudi electrical codes, SEC standards, and international regulations. - Good understanding of electrical systems used in infrastructure projects (e.g., street lighting, utility networks). - Strong communication and reporting skills. - Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
