**Job Title: Electrical Function Tester**
**Job Description**
As an Electrical Function Tester, you will perform electrical functionality testing on custom control panels and systems according to provided documentation. You will be responsible for inspecting electrical control panels per schematic and BOM, uploading engineered program files via USB and manual data entry to controllers, VFD drives, and PLC equipment. Your role will include reworking and repairing faulty components or circuits as needed, while ensuring all documentation is recorded. You will perform low and high voltage wiring and identify opportunities for improvement based on inspection and test results. Completion of QC documentation and problem resolution logs will be part of your duties, along with a strong aptitude for electrical troubleshooting.
**Responsibilities**
+ Conduct electrical functionality testing on custom control panels and systems.
+ Inspect electrical control panels according to schematic and BOM.
+ Upload engineered program files via USB and manual data entry to controllers, VFD drives, and PLC equipment.
+ Rework and repair faulty components or circuits as needed, ensuring all documentation is recorded.
+ Perform low and high voltage wiring as necessary.
+ Identify opportunities for improvement based on inspection and test results.
+ Complete QC documentation and problem resolution logs.
+ Interface with customers and service technicians to resolve test issues.
+ Identify and relay errors to coworkers professionally and efficiently.
+ Read, understand, and utilize various engineering and manufacturing documents.
+ Assist in establishing and implementing best work practices.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in electrical assembly and wiring.
+ Ability to perform troubleshooting and installation tasks.
+ Experience with reading and interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams.
+ Knowledge of electrical testing equipment, such as meters.
+ Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Two years of electrical technical training (Associates or equivalent preferred).
+ Two or more years of electrical live power testing experience preferred.
+ High level of motivation and ability to multi-task.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a large manufacturing building where units are built in teams of 3-4 people. It is fast-paced and well-lit, with a focus on cleanliness despite the nature of the work. While there is no air conditioning, fans are available to maintain airflow. Steel-toed shoes and long pants are required every day.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
