As an Electrical Foreman at FORTNA, you will lead and supervise electrical field teams in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within automated material handling environments. This role ensures all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with electrical codes and project specifications. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating jobsite activities, maintaining quality and safety standards, and supporting project schedules and budgets. This is a 100% travel position, requiring flexibility to be onsite at client facilities across the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and manages the activities of a team of electricians, providing guidance and support. Demonstrates strong technical expertise and a thorough understanding of electrical principles, codes, and safety regulations.Plans the electrical work, schedules tasks, and ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Inspects electrical work to ensure it meets quality standards and complies with regulations. Prioritizes safety on the job site and ensures the team follows safety procedures. Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and clients. Identifies and resolves electrical problems or issues that may arise on the job site. May be involved in training new electricians or apprentices on the job site.Requirements:
5-8 years of experience as an electrician, including 2-3 years in a supervisory or lead role overseeing electrical installation or field teams. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications in electrical trade are a plus. Strong technical skills in electrical installation and wiring, as well as good communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Working knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.Must be willing to travel 100%PHYSICAL DEMANDS: May require lifting, climbing, and working in various environments. The hourly rate for this role is between $24.09 to $36.06. This range represents the low and high end of the hourly rate for this position. The actual hourly rate offered will vary based on various factors including, but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
