Job Title: Electrical EstimatorJob Description We are seeking an Electrical Estimator for residential and public works projects located in Woodland Hills, CA. This full-time role requires a motivated individual to serve as a key liaison between field operations and project management, ensuring smooth execution from RFIs to change orders and billing. Join our growing electrical contracting company as we scale into a larger operation. Responsibilities + Serve as an Estimator/Project Coordinator on select jobs, especially public works. + Coordinate with foremen, manage RFIs, change orders, and SOVs. + Draft and update construction plans using AutoCAD or similar tools. + Assist with estimating (electrical, HVAC, plumbing) and take-offs. + Prepare and manage billing based on line-item SOVs for public works. + Communicate with agencies and clients. + Support commercial and residential teams as needed. + Maintain clear documentation and ensure compliance with public work standards. Essential Skills + Experience in residential and public electrical work, including meters and single-line diagrams. + Proficiency in AutoCAD and drafting for construction. + Strong understanding of public works processes such as RFIs, SOVs, and change orders. + Estimating experience in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing. + Excellent communication and organizational skills. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the owner and project manager. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Local to LA or Rancho Cucamonga area for weekly site visits. + Quick learner with a strong work ethic. + Interested in long-term job stability and career growth. + Strong customer service mindset and field communication skills. Work Environment The work environment is supportive and team-oriented with direct access to ownership. Office hours are from 8 AM to 4 PM, with flexibility based on project needs.
