**Electrical Engineer II** **Des Plaines, Illinois** **Hybrid** As an Electrical Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will design, develop, and implement electrical systems, provide technical expertise, and support cross-functional teams to ensure project success. You will report directly to our Applications Engineering Leader and you will work out of our Des Plaines, Illinois, location on a Hybrid work schedule. Help to build a strong, diverse team by recruiting talent, identifying, and developing successors, driving retention and engagement, and fostering an inclusive culture. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** • Assist in the design and development of selected building automation, fire and security products and components. • Coordinate annual ISO reviews, document results, make recommendations for improvement. • Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical requirements. • Quality Management Systems: Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001). • Audits: Conduct internal and external audits to evaluate the effectiveness of the quality management systems and identify areas for improvement. • Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions. • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality control processes, audit findings, and corrective actions. • Supplier Quality: Work with suppliers to ensure that the quality of incoming materials meets specified requirements. • Customer Liaison: Act as a point of contact for customers on quality-related issues and ensure timely resolution of complaints and non-conformities. • Continuous Improvement: Lead quality improvement projects and initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and increase efficiency. **BENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL** • Benefits – Medical, Vision, Dental, Mental Health • Paid Vacation • 401k Plan/Retirement Benefits (as per regional policy) • Career Growth • Professional Development In addition to a competitive salary, leading-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package. The annual base salary range for this position is $82,400-$104,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
