Specific Duties and Responsibilities This is a tenure track instructor faculty position focusing on teaching lecture and lab courses in Electrical Engineering Technology. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the technical aspects of electrical engineering technology and have skills in several of the following areas: Instrumentation and measurement, control system and PLC, CAD, signal processing, dynamics, finite element analysis, real-time control, embedded computing, circuits, and Solidworks design system software. In addition to technical skills, the ideal candidate will also demonstrate the ability and enthusiasm to lead student team projects. This includes guiding students in developing and implementing projects that demonstrate their understanding of course material, as well as providing mentorship and support throughout the project development process. The candidate should be able to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to students with diverse backgrounds, engage in continuous learning, and participate in departmental and institutional service activities. Minimum Qualifications Education Required: A Masters’ degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
