Job Title: Electrical Engineering Technician
Job Type: 6-Month Contract
Overview:
A 6-month contract opportunity is available for an Electrical Engineering Technician to support electronics assembly, soldering, and testing for advanced aerospace hardware. This role is ideal for candidates with strong hands-on experience in RF systems and precision electronic work.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform electronics soldering, assembly, and testingRead and interpret schematics for RF systemsConduct surface mount soldering under a microscopeBuild and test multi-wire cable harnessesOperate test equipment including vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and digital multimetersMust-Have Skills:
Proficiency in soldering, including surface mount techniquesExperience using a wide range of electronic test equipmentAbility to work with complex electronic systems and schematicsNice-to-Have Skills:
Certifications such as J-STD-001, IPC-6018, or IPC-6010Previous experience in the aerospace industryWork Environment:

The Longmont site serves as the RF Center of Excellence, contributing to advanced space technologies including the Falccon Broadband Space Antenna. The team is scaling under new leadership with a strong focus on space applications and contract priming.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $52.00/hr.
