Description
Will be performing Engineering Electronic Technician tasks helping to assemble prototype PC Boards and assemblies for Space applications and Defense programs. Will be performing soldering - through hole and surface mount, pcb assembly, blueprint or schematic reading, repair and rework under J-Std based off of collaborations with engineering team's developments and sketches/drawings. Will be working on complex projects for the NAVY, Space Industry avionics, and programs for Primes like Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, Etc.
Overview - responsible for managing, fabricating, assembling, and supporting high quality/high reliability electrical and mechanical systems for space application Much of the work will be with small components like 20 and 32 gauge wires and will be done under a microscope;

3-7+ Years of soldering, through hole and surface mount, and pc board assembly experience with Microscope experience (J-Std with Space Addendum ideal)
2+ years of experience with assembly for space, defense, or aerospace products or components in a prototype, R&D, new product development area
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, minimal work instructions, Engineering sketches, and test, inspect, and troubleshoot avionics electronics, electro-mechanical components

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
