Job Title: Electrical Engineering Technician
Job Description

The primary role of the Electrical Engineering Technician is to engage in hands-on work related to tooling and testing equipment, with a focus on electronics rather than mechanics. This position involves building and maintaining wire harnesses and test boxes, as well as understanding and interpreting electrical drawings and designs.

ResponsibilitiesPerform hands-on work with tooling and testing equipment, emphasizing electronic aspects.Build and maintain wire harnesses and test boxes.Interpret and understand electrical drawings and designs.Calibrate and maintain equipment, including conducting ATP tests.Address adhoc requests from the team, troubleshooting test boxes, and sourcing replacement components or spare parts.Essential SkillsTroubleshooting and electronics expertise.1+ years of experience in electro-mechanical testing or electronics, preferably in the aerospace industry.Hands-on experience with wire harnessing and working with test boxes.Strong technical understanding of electrical drawings and designs.Familiarity with IPC 610 and IPC 620 standards.Proficiency in soldering and electrical engineering.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in wire harness building and repair.Ability to receive and execute adhoc requests efficiently.Work Environment

The role requires working in a hands-on environment, focused on electronic tooling and testing. The technician will be working with wire harnesses, test boxes, and various electronic testing equipment, following standard safety procedures and guidelines.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
