We have an opening for a EPS Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in the Tactical Space organization. This position will be located in Dulles, VA.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role you will:
Be responsible for managing a team of EPS engineersMentor reporting engineers to help provide direction and grow careersManage various Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)Hold technical peer reviewsCharge oversight & budget managementImplement lessons learned and corrective/preventative actionsEscalate major issues to the department managerWork with the full EPS management team to ensure programs are sufficiently staffed with the right talentAct as a liaison between the EPS functional group and program managementBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science degree in EngineeringMinimum 6 years experience in a related fieldUnderstanding the fundamentals of EPSPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience as a program EPS leadExperience as an IPT lead in EPSExperience in all space vehicle mission phases, from proposal through post-launch supportThe Northrop Grumman Tactical Space Division is a strategic partner specializing in commercial and classified partnerships with the design, delivery, operation and sustainment of satellites and human spacecraft. Salary Range: $129,900.00 - $194,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
