The electrical engineering intern will work with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and scientists designing precision analog and low frequency (1 - 10 MHz) RF systems for medical devices and scientific instruments.\nHow will you make an impact?\nOur interns are matched to projects based on their abilities and current business needs. All projects will have significant strategic and/or operating importance to the business to which they are assigned.\nSummer projects may include the following responsibilities:\n•\tProvide engineering support related to electronic development projects including circuit testing and design.\n•\tSupport a variety of electrical engineering activities and may be assigned to a variety of engineering tasks throughout the department.\n•\tBe involved with many aspects of hardware quality assurance and some hardware design and analysis tasks.\n•\tProvide feedback on specifications and designs. \n•\tLearn about electrical engineering and instrumentation through daily activities. \n•\tAccept candid feedback and look for areas of improvements.\nStart Date: This internship is set to begin on either May 12th or June 16th, 2025 for a duration of 10-12 weeks – dependent upon student availability per academic calendars.\nCompensation & Relocation: Our undergraduate Engineering internships offer an hourly rate between $21.50 - $28.75 dependent upon the location you are supporting (aligned to respective cost-of-living guidelines). Additionally, a relocation stipend is offered in the amount of $5,000 if necessary. Student must be located 50+ miles away from the physical location of the internship to be eligible for the relocation stipend.\nHow will you get here?\n•\tUndergraduate student completing an Electrical Engineering or related degree between December 2025 and June 2026.\n•\tCompleted coursework in electrical circuit design or physics with understanding of operational amplifiers, transistors.\n\n•\t0 years of work experience required; previous related internships preferred.\n\n\n•\tEnergized through championing change, driven in getting results, and savvy in navigating ambiguity.\n•\tExcellent interpersonal communication skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence.\n\nIf this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!\nTo qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require sponsorship (current or future) for employment visa status. Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $14.75–$28.75.
