Position Description At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for anElectrical Engineering Co-Op (Spring 2026)to join theElectrical Wiring Systems Pass & Seymour Teamin Syracuse, NY. As an intern, you’ll participate in developing competencies in a variety of electrical engineering specializations as they pertain to New Product Development and 3rdParty Certification. What Will You Do? + Design, build, analyze, and troubleshoot electrical circuits, sub-assemblies and products, using schematic capture and PCB layout program named Altium, various digital and analog test equipment. + Coordinate new designs and design changes with engineering, CAD, technical writing, test engineering, and production ensuring that both product and customer documentation is correct and current. + Research, review, evaluate, document, and implement product improvement concepts and design enhancements to increase productivity and reduce cost. Actively participate in developing and refining product development processes and procedures. Formally recommend process improvements. + Test prototypes and products in the engineering test lab for safety, performance, and conformance to requirements. + Research and determine requirements for electrical components and systems. Qualifications Required Skills + Actively enrolled in a Bachelor of Science degree program in Electrical Engineering or an Associate’s Degree program in Electronics Technology or similar disciplines, from an accredited institution. + Ability to work collaboratively on a team & have good communication skills both verbal & written + Must provide own mode of transportation and housing stipend available based on distance from office. + Must be a U.S. Citizen or have authorization to work in the U.S. Salary Range:$18.00 - $23.00 / per hour Company Info About Legrand Legrand is the global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures.
