TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer & Project Manager to join our client’s team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a wide range of initiatives involving power distribution, lighting, life safety, and communications systems. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment within a well-established firm known for its integrated approach to design, engineering, and construction across Western Canada.

Responsibilities: Review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget. Design and coordinate the integration of electrical systems within new and existing building projects, ensuring alignment with architectural and mechanical components. Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities and contributing to proposals. Provide expert guidance on code compliance, technical standards, and best practices. Conduct site assessments and prepare technical evaluations of existing electrical systems. Lead and manage the electrical scope of multidisciplinary projects from concept through construction. Preform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
  Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering. Eligible for registration in British Columbia or other Western Canadian provinces. Strong understanding of Canadian Electrical Code, National and Provincial Building Codes. Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and ETAP. Demonstrated experience in building systems design and construction administration. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Local project experience is considered an asset.
