Electrical Engineer
Job Title: Embedded Electrical Engineer - Defense Aerospace Job Description Join a dynamic and innovative team in the defense aerospace industry dedicated to designing and delivering cutting-edge unmanned aviation systems. As an Embedded Electrical Engineer contractor, you will be at the forefront of developing next-generation technologies that enhance situational awareness on the battlespace. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking projects with real-world impact during a defined 6-month engagement in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities + Design and integrate hardware for next-generation unmanned systems. + Integrate software and hardware components to perform rapid prototype development. + Integrate various hardware and sensor packages to support Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Targeting. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards. + Document hardware designs, processes, and results clearly. Essential Skills + Experience with robotic systems. + Proficiency in digital and analog design. + Knowledge of power systems. + Expertise in PCB design using Altium. + Experience with embedded controllers and battery-operated power systems. + Hands-on development and lab experience with rapid demo systems. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Moorpark, California. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $67.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
