We’re seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to join a nationally recognized team focused on water and wastewater treatment facilities. What You’ll Do + Lead and support detailed electrical power systems design for municipal water and wastewater treatment plants. + Perform load calculations, conduit routing, motor control center and switchgear design, and generate technical specifications. + Conduct field investigations and support startup activities. + Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and interface with clients to deliver high-quality, code-compliant solutions. What You Bring + Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred). + 6–12 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in water/wastewater or related infrastructure. + PE license (or in the process of obtaining). + Proficiency in power system applications: short circuit current, voltage drop, harmonic distortion, and power factor. + Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 820, NESC, and IEEE Color Book Series. + Strong communication skills and a collaborative, self-starting mindset. + Proficiency in MS Word and Excel. Nice to Have + Experience with electrical design tools (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.). + Knowledge of municipal water reuse, fire protection, and electrical safety standards. + Exposure to commissioning, field startup, and control systems.
