CEIS is seeking a licensed Professional Electrical Engineer (PE) with demonstrated experience supporting Department of Energy (DOE) and/or federal construction projects. This role involves hands-on engineering oversight for high-consequence work scopes, including facility upgrades, field modifications, and infrastructure builds across DOE and similar government environments.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop, review, and stamp engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations for electrical systems.
Provide design support and oversight for construction, startup, and commissioning of DOE-related projects.
Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, and applicable DOE directives and standards.
Collaborate closely with project managers, safety leads, QA personnel, and field staff.
Review and approve work packages, engineering changes, and technical documentation.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
Active PE license required.
8+ years of relevant experience in DOE, nuclear, or federal construction environments.
Strong knowledge of NQA-1, OSHA 1926, and federal safety compliance standards.
Clearance eligibility REQUIRED.
