Electrical Engineer

About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to take the lead in overseeing the design of Liquids Pump Station facilities for key expansion and maintenance projects. In this role, you’ll work closely with third-party engineering firms and internal teams to deliver designs that meet the highest standards for safety, quality, and performance—on time and on budget.

What You’ll Do
Own the design process for pump station facilities, ensuring compliance with industry codes, regulations, and company standards.

Manage third-party engineering teams, keeping deliverables on track with project budgets and schedules.

Design and review electrical components and interconnections.

Approve technical deliverables such as drawings, reports, and materials lists.

Collaborate across teams—from Operations to Construction—to address performance goals and constructability challenges.

Evaluate vendor proposals and recommend the best options based on technical merit, cost, and delivery timelines.

Capture lessons learned and contribute to ongoing process and quality improvements.
What You Bring
Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

At least 4 years of relevant industry experience.

Preferred:

Experience juggling multiple projects and priorities independently.

Strong problem-solving skills, applying and adapting engineering standards as needed.

Clear and confident communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Working Conditions
80% office-based, 20% field-based.

Some travel required for project scoping, procurement support, construction, and commissioning activities.

Time-sensitive deliverables in a dynamic environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.

Pay -$70-$73/hr
