A multi-disciplinary engineering firm in Chicago is looking to add an Electrical Engineer to their team!
Job Description:
Provide design leadership and expertise in applicable codes and standardsPreparation and supervision of preparation of contract documents including schematic design, design development and final construction drawings and specificationsDeliver accurate and thorough code compliant designs meeting industry standards within budget constraintsReview and carry out complex electrical technical studies and prepare high caliber reportsProficiency with construction process and constructability issuesResolve site construction issues, attend site meetings and perform site inspections during the construction phase of projectsReview internal and external designs for code compliance, good design practice and constructabilityPerform quality assurance and quality control tasks on projectsQualifications:
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering 5+ years of documented design experience or responsibility in areas of electrical engineering for buildingsLicensure is requiredExperience in managing and leading a design teamRevit experienceProficiency with SKM or similar industry acceptable short circuit analysis programProficiency with AGI32 or other industry accepted photometric calculation programPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
