We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing control interfaces based on customer-provided machine control electrical schematics and contributing to PLC/HMI software development and testing. The position is focused on troubleshooting and updating existing code, with occasional development of new programs.
ResponsibilitiesDesign control interfaces based on customer-provided electrical schematics.Develop and test PLC/HMI software.Troubleshoot and update existing programs.Program Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).Collaborate closely with electricians and panel builders to provide assistance during assembly.Serve as the point of contact for outside electrical contractors.Work with purchasing to source electrical components.Follow instructions and adhere to established procedures.Conduct quality control testing of electrical control panels and conveyor systems.Responsible for panel layout and schematic drawings.Update and develop standardized prints.Perform electrical design using AutoCAD.Essential SkillsElectrical design and PLC programming.Bachelor's degree in Engineering is highly preferred.Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.Proficiency in AutoCAD drafting, including schematics and panel/enclosure layout.Working knowledge of NFPA 70 and 79, OSHA 29CFR part 1910.PLC/HMI development skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with ladder logic and text-based programming.Basic familiarity with Arduino is a plus.Proficiency in C or C++ is a bonus.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
