**Duration: 12 Months** **Note: Traveling as needed (possibly up to 25%) domestically and abroad in support of project objectives.** **Job Description:** + The client Customer Centric Solutions Team is seeking to hire an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to work on custom engineering opportunities that enable the sale of standard client Products. + The primary responsibilities of this position are to work with client customers, sales personnel, engineering teams, alliance partners, and contract manufacturers to define, document, design, deploy and sustain client products tailored to meet specific customer requirements for large scale turnkey engineering solutions. + The ideal candidate has experience and knowledge regarding client products and system level design. **Core Job Responsibilities:** + This is a multi-functional role dealing with diverse engineering needs, including the ability to gather requirements, generate specification documents, and interface with alliance partners, contract manufacturers and internal personnel to design, deploy and sustain custom solutions worldwide. + This is a high visibility role within client requiring daily interaction with client customers, client Alliance Partners, client Sales Teams, client Engineering Teams, and Executive Management. **The role will include:** + Interacting with a wide variety of client customers, client staff, external alliance partners and suppliers in support of designing, implementing, and sustaining of custom solutions + Generating requirements documents, statements of work and Bills of Materials + Defining and implementing project plans, managing milestones, and holding reviews to assure systems meet requirements and readiness for deployment + Specifying, designing, prototyping, testing, and deploying turnkey automated solutions + Directing support personnel, managing project technical deliverables, guiding technical decisions and driving field found issues to resolution **Experience and Skill Requirements:** **Minimum Requirements:** + B. S. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics or Electronics Engineering Technology + Minimum of 7 years relevant industry experience in a Hardware Systems Design Role or a Test Engineering Design Role + Ability to work on ITAR projects and qualify for DoD Clearances + Strong understanding of electrical engineering, electronics & computer architectures + Understanding of high-level programming languages (LabVIEW, TestStand, C/C++/C#) **Demonstrated understanding of the following concepts and principles:** + Sources of measurement error + Appropriate selection of instrumentation and equipment + Understanding of schematics and wiring diagrams + Integration of hardware and software + Bill of Materials creation and review + Familiarity with CAD and PCB design tools + Statistical analysis of data (Cp, Cpk, GR&R) **Preferred Skills:** + Hands on use of schematic capture tools and PCB design tools + Knowledge in Component Supplier Selection + Knowledge in Compliance Certifications (CE, UL, TUV, Etc.) + Hands on use of NI Hardware Platforms and Instruments + Hands on use of NI LabVIEW and Test Stand **Demonstrated ability to:** + Work effectively in a diverse, multi-cultural group development environment + Problem-solve effectively - diagnose technical issues and propose reasonable solutions + Lead teams in test and measurement system design + Take initiative, be a self-starter, and work independently + Persistently drive tasks and lead projects to successful completion + Quickly learn applicable technology, systems, and products + Strong work ethic and drive to succeed. **About US Tech Solutions:** US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
