Summary:
Responsible for managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced design environment, maintaining high-quality engineering design, and supporting project coordination.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Licensed to practice Engineering in Michigan
Certified by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES)
10+ years of relevant experience in the design of engineered building systems
Proficient knowledge of NFPA 170 and National Electrical Code (NEC)
Experience using Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM 360
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of healthcare planning, design, construction documents, construction administration, and project construction cost control for healthcare facilities
Job Responsibilities:
Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative, integrated design environment
Maintain and improve the consistency, quality, and accuracy of engineering design and production
Assist in preparing proposals for engineering services, including defining scope of work and setting appropriate labor budgets
Assemble, coordinate, and monitor engineering project schedules
Review drawings and specifications throughout all phases of design
Pay Details: $50.00 to $66.00 per hour
