To learn more about playing for Team Amcor, visit www.amcor.com | LinkedIn | YouTube **Responsibilities** + Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems for plastic processing equipment (e.g., extruders, injection molders, blow molders). + Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in machinery, including PLCs, VFDs, servo motors, transducers, and control panels. + Collaborate with mechanical and process engineers to integrate electrical systems into manufacturing workflows. + Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. + Support automation and control system upgrades to improve efficiency and reduce downtime. + Maintain accurate documentation including schematics, wiring diagrams, and maintenance logs. + Lead or assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment. + Analyze data to identify trends and recommend preventive maintenance strategies. + Organize visits and communication with outside vendors. + Lead electrical safety initiatives. + Create and read schematics. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field. + 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (plastics industry preferred). + Proficiency in CAD software and electrical design tools. + Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, including 480V three-phase power. + Experience with PLC programming and HMI interfaces. + Knowledge of safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures. + Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills. **Preferred Skills** + Familiarity with extrusion and molding processes. + Experience with energy efficiency initiatives and sustainability practices. + Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally. + Master Electrician license or willingness to obtain one (a plus). + Experience or willingness to learn Vision Systems. **Additional Info** **Contact** **About Amcor** Amcor is a global leader in packaging solutions for consumer and healthcare products.
