Description This role is for a Battery Energy Storage System Engineer role in McDonough, GA. The primary skills needed for this role is an individual that has worked on batteries in an integration role. Familiarity with standards for battery energy storage systems and the design of battery energy storage systems. This role also requires a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering. This is a technical lead role and interacts with other engineering departments and OEMs, but is an individual contributor. The role requires at least 3 years of experience. The primary responsibilities of this role is to own and coordinated system level development and maintain system architecture diagrams and documentation that describe the dynamic behavior and structure of BESS across all development phases. They will translate stakeholder and customer requirements into system and component level specifications tailored for Battery Energy Storage Systems. Collaborate with software, hardware, mechanical and system integration teams to define and evaluate the system architecture, ensuring functional alignment and efficient interfaces. They will be doing support Verification & Validation, System Integration and Test and Technical project leads to define system integration, verification, and validation strategies for storage systems.
