Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description Lead the development and design of instrumentation and control products, such as monitors, transmitters, and electronic switches, from concept to launch. You will ensure these products meet delivery schedules, cost, and quality requirements, adhering to a structured stage gate process. Develop architectural options to fulfill market needs and create sub-system and system-level prototypes across hardware, firmware, and software modules. Responsibilities + Lead end-to-end design of new products, ensuring timely and successful launch. + Develop architectural options to meet market needs. + Create sub-system and system-level prototypes across hardware, firmware, and software. + Ensure the packaging of electronic components aligns with mechanical design for a functional system. + Diagnose hardware/software issues through lab testing. + Conduct thorough functional testing to meet specifications and certification requirements. + Support value engineering and cost-out initiatives. + Address customer quality issues with urgency. + Lead project teams, directing the work of others and collaborating with engineering resources in Germany and/or India. + Prepare or direct the preparation of documentation, including schematics, drawings, software specifications, parts lists, test procedures, and instructional materials. + Interface with operations, quality assurance, and purchasing to resolve problems and achieve objectives. Essential Skills + Digital and analog circuit design. + Embedded systems design. + New product development. + Proficiency in PCB design and experience with design software tools. + Experience with embedded systems, including microprocessor, RAM, and EEPROM. + Skill in analog circuit design, digital circuit design, and signal conversion. + Proficiency in Altium or equivalent PCB design tools. + Embedded software architecture expertise. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred. + 3-5 years of relevant work experience. + Effective collaboration skills within and across teams.
