PCB/ FPGA Design Engineer
Job Description
This role involves analog design targeting spaceflight or high reliability environments. You will be responsible for designing DC-10GHz ADC and DAC circuits along with interfaces to high-performance Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs). Your tasks will include analyzing and simulating analog circuits as part of the design process, schematic capture of circuit design, and component selection and management. Collaboration with Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layout and fabrication vendors to ensure PCB meets design performance and quality requirements will also be crucial. Additionally, you will perform hardware integration with digital and optical hardware teams.
ResponsibilitiesDesign analog circuits for spaceflight or high reliability environments.Create DC-10GHz ADC and DAC circuits with FPGA interfaces.Analyze and simulate analog circuits during design process.Capture schematics and manage component selection.Collaborate with PCB layout and fabrication vendors.Perform hardware integration with digital and optical hardware teams.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3 years of recent experience in relevant categories: PCB Mixed Signal, Digital/Analog Circuit Design/Simulation.Experience with FPGA design or interfacing exposure and PCB design.Proficiency in any or all of the following: Integration of Opto-Electrical devices, Control loop design, power supply.Experience in Aerospace, Defense, or other industries that require complex systems or mission criticalAdditional Skills & QualificationsWorking knowledge of circuit analysis tools.Opto-electronic devices (Lasers, VOAs, PIN Diodes)IPC Class III cb design and assembly nice to haveWillingness to comply with rigorous development process requirements.Ability to obtain/retain a secret government security clearance.Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of skills, education, and experience.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $100.00/hr.
