Job Description
Actalent is seeking an Electrical Engineer, who will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical panels for various projects. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electrical panels, including schematics and layouts.Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to ensure designs meet project requirements.Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed electrical panel designs.Conduct detailed calculations to establish manufacturing and installation standards.Inspect and evaluate electrical panels to ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.Perform thorough testing of electrical panels and make necessary modifications.Prepare and maintain technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.Essential SkillsExperience with electrical engineering and panel design.Proficiency in AutoCAD and CAD software for electrical design.Ability to design panels from scratch and modify existing drawings.Experience in reading electrical schematics.Knowledge of power distribution and circuit design.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with automation and PLC programming or troubleshooting is a plus.Any power or voltage experience is beneficial.Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing/shop environment with office space available for engineers. Candidates must be comfortable working on the floor and getting their hands dirty. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
