Job Description
As a Hardware Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and testing hardware components and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, electrical engineers, and product managers, to bring cutting-edge products to market. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver with strong experience in hardware design, testing, and troubleshooting.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop hardware components, including PCBs, circuits, and systems, in accordance with project requirements and specifications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware with software and other components.Create prototypes for hardware components and conduct thorough testing to validate design concepts.Identify and troubleshoot hardware-related issues, implementing solutions to ensure optimal performance.Maintain detailed documentation of hardware designs, testing procedures, and outcomes.Work with the documentation team to create user manuals and technical documentation for hardware products.Collaborate with software engineers, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to product development.Participate in design reviews and provide valuable input to improve overall product quality.Ensure that hardware designs comply with industry standards, Mil standards, safety regulations, and other relevant guidelines.Essential Skills10+ years of experience in hardware design, development, and testing.Proven experience in PCB Design.Proficiency in using design and simulation tools such as Altium, Cadence, and SPICE.Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in designing with Microprocessors, FPGAs, and other embedded systems.Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.Work Environment
The role is 100% onsite due to the nature of the work and is based in a cubicle environment with manufacturing facilities in the back. The team enjoys a balanced culture, with some members engaging in social activities such as happy hours while others focus on family-oriented commitments. The company offers a stable environment with multiple recent awards and operates on a 9/80 schedule, providing every other Friday off.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $80.00/hr.
